SELAH, WA - It's going on three weeks since Sherman the owl was stolen from his own home at Raptor House near Selah.

Shannon and Marsha Dalan won't give up hope that Sherman will be found and the suspect or suspects behind this will be put behind bars.

Raptor House is a rehabilitation center for birds of prey. Just before midnight on January 31st, the Dalan's said they went out to feed and found the lock to one of the bird cages had been jimmied and set aside.

The Dalan's said the suspect walked past three native birds to steal Sherman, an exotic Tawny Owl.

"Makes you very angry," said Shannon Dalan. "It makes you feel violated. It makes you worry about the bird. I mean he was one of our star performers for our education programs that we do."

Dalan said The Raptor House is offering a $2,500 reward for any information that can help find Sherman or the people responsible for the theft.

Sheriff deputies said they've carried out several interviews but so far no arrests have been made.
