KSD to Hold Meetings About Dual Language Program This Week
The Kennewick School District is holding informational meetings this week about their dual language program.
KENNEWICK, WA - The Kennewick School District is holding informational meetings this week about their dual language program.
The program is for kindergarten through eighth graders, and teaches both English and Spanish as part of the curriculum. Space is limited--there are only about 90 spots.
"You must live within the Kennewick School District. You also need to have a child entering kindergarten in the fall of 2014--attend one of the information meetings--then go through the screening process and a selection of the lottery will determine if they are placed in the program or not," said Diana Valdovinos, the Dual Language Facilitator for the district.
To learn more about the dual language program, attend one of the meetings on February 19th and 20th, at the district's Administration Center on West 4th Avenue. The meetings start at 5:30 p.m.
