Kittitas County Planning Commission Will Hear Proposal for Marijuana Regulation

KITTITAS COUNTY, WA - The Kittitas County Planning Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting will consider a proposed amendment to the County Code regulating potential marijuana growth and processing.

On Tuesday, February 25, at 6:30 p.m. in the Teanaway Hall at Kittitas County Fairgrounds, the County Planning Commission will conduct a formal public hearing to hear public comment on proposed amendments to the Kittitas County Zoning Code regulating areas where marijuana might be grown and/or processed. 

Upon review of the public testimony, the Planning Commission will  recommend to the Board of County Commissioners whether to adopt the proposed regulation as written, to adopt the regulation with amendment, or to deny the proposed regulation. 

Public testimony will be recorded and provided to the Commissioners.
