UKRAINE-PROTESTS: More Clashes, More Deaths

KIEV, Ukraine (AP) - At least 22 people have been killed in today's protests in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev, as President Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition remain locked in a battle over whether their country's loyalties should be with Russia or the West.

Now the head of Kiev's city administration has resigned from Yanukovych's ruling party. He says, "we must be guided only by the interests of the people, this is our only chance to save people's lives."
