Thieves Burglarize Four Nearby Homes in Kennewick

Posted: Updated:

KENNEWICK, WA - Kennewick Police are looking for the thieves that are targeting a specific area of town.

Police say in the first half of February, four residential burglaries have happened near Yelm Street and State Route 395, all during the weekends between 6:00pm and 9:00pm.

Officers say thieves stole electronics, game consoles, and two safes from homes on the 500 block of Yelm, 2000 block of Clearwater, 2000 block of Bruneau, and 500 block of Underwood.

"When we see a pattern like this of several in a small area, similar m.o.'s, we feel they're probably connected. We're trying to alert those neighbors, hey be on the watch," said Sgt. Ken Lattin, Kennewick Police Department.

Police say you should call 911 right away if you see any suspicious vehicles or people - especially anyone knocking on doors, asking for someone who doesn't live there.
