COLFAX, Wash. (AP) - Two Eastern Washington University students have died in a traffic accident near Colfax.
The Washington State Patrol says the accident occurred Friday morning on US 195 a few miles south of Colfax.
The State Patrol says a car carrying four young people crossed over the center line and crashed into a semi-truck.
The State Patrol identified the deceased students as 21-year-old Nancy Zepeda Zarate of Quincy and 21-year-old Ashley Gonzalez of Pasco. Two other young people in the car were taken to area hospitals but are expected to survive.
