Earlier this month, the Spokane Valley Sheriff's Property Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the 5500 block of N. Hemlock. The search warrant was part of an investigation involving multiple burglaries and trafficking of stolen property, and yielded many stolen items, including air compressors, wielding equipment, a bag of yarn, and miscellaneous tools.

The Sheriff's department doesn't want any of this stuff. In fact, they would like to get it back to the rightful owners.     SPOKANE, Wash. - A 6-month-old child is in protective custody and a suspect has been detained as Spokane Police investigate a kidnapping early Friday morning.  Police said in a press released they made contact with a man outside of the Public Safety Building early Friday morning just before 2:30 a.m. The man had two children who were not related to him, but had been left in his custody.
