SLIDESHOW: Snow Expected To Fall Throughout The Day Sunday

Sunday Night: Snow will continue to fall off and on, with varying intensity, throughout the night and into tomorrow morning. Winds remain steady around 10mph. We could pick up an additional 2-2.5" of snow from what's on the ground right now. Low: 21° (Yellow)
 
Monday: Light snow showers lingering into the morning, although anymore accumulation will be light. A cold front sweeping through will kick winds up near 20mph Monday morning, but it will also up dry us up and turn off the snow. Partial clearing behind the front to partly sunny skies Monday afternoon. High: 32° (Yellow AM/Green PM)
 
Look Ahead: We'll look to stay dry and gradually warm up Tuesday and Wednesday. Next chance for some showers (rain/snow mix) will be by Thursday. Then cooling down towards next weekend brings yet another chance of snow to the Inland Northwest!

The good news is everyone got out safely, but it wasn't easy. We spoke with one Spokane Police Officer who became a hero in the blink of an eye. Corporal Ron Van Tassel was first on the scene before firefighters even got to the scene near Post and Nora.
