KENNEWICK, WA - The Eagle 106.5 and Hapo Community Credit Union teamed up Sunday for a good cause.

They broadcasted live outside the flash-cube building on Clearwater Ave. and Columbia Center boulevard taking song requests for donations.

The money goes to Delt Clark's medical expenses as he battles lymphoma.

He was a long time Kadlec employee and more recently worked on the Radio Tri-Cities sales team.

Classic rock morning co-hosts Jaxon and Focker said it is the community's turn to help out after Clark has done so much for other people.

"He's just always trying to help somebody in the community and now its our turn to help him. He's struggling, he battling lymphoma he's tuffing it out but he's up for the challenge and his family needs our help," Jaxon said.

People could pay money to hear a song of any genre played on the classic rock station Sunday but they could also pay to not play something.

As of 6 p.m. Sunday, more than $3,000 were already raised.
