YAKIMA, WA. -- The Harlem Globetrotters were in Yakima Sunday night showing off their trademark basketball skills at the Sundome.
With the Harlem Globetrotters in town it's always fun and there were plenty of laughs and thrills to go around all night long. The Globetrotters were up to all their old shenanigans with some new tricks mixed in.
It was all part of their "Fan Rules World Tour" which included stops in the Tri-Cities, Seattle, Everett and Kent earlier this week. It was an interactive performance with fans even voting on what rules they wanted for each quarter of the game. It was a good time for people of all ages could enjoy.
"I went to see them when I was 17-years-old and was so impressed and haven't seen them since," Donna Giskin said. "So I brought my grandson, I surprised him."
"I'm really excited about seeing the basketball players," Nelson Chacon said. "I'm hopping I'm going to get an autograph."
And unbelievably, the Globetrotters beat the World All-Stars again Sunday! The Globetrotters head out of Washington after Sunday. But they come to the Sundome every year so you can catch them again twelve months from now.
