University Remembering Women From Pasco & Quincy Who Were Killed in Crash

CHENEY, WA - Eastern Washington University is planning a memorial for two students killed in a crash Friday on Highway 195 near Colfax.
    
One of the dead is Nancy Zepeda, 21, who was the founder and president of the Alpha Pi Sigma sorority at the university in Cheney. The other student killed was Ashley Gonzalez, 21, of Pasco who was friends with the sorority but not a member.
    
Two other sorority members were injured. Erica Polita, 21, was in critical condition at a Spokane hospital and Carmen Gomez, 22, was treated and released at Whitman Hospital in Colfax.
    
The Washington State Patrol says Polita was driving the car that went out of control and collided with a semi-truck.
