KENNEWICK, WA - Crews are making more progress on the Carousel of Dreams in the Southridge area of Kennewick.

Workers from Perfect Circle Construction are putting the roofing materials on the building this week and next week.

The owner of Perfect Circle says they're the oldest residential roofing company in the Tri-Cities, and the carousel is the most historic project they've ever been involved with.

Project foreman Eric Caballero said, "This type of job is big for us, it's a big deal. I think it's going to be pretty cool for the kids. It's just one of the few things that we have to take our kids to around here."

Perfect Circle owner John Weese says the company was able to get its supplier to agree to a $5,000 discount on the materials for the carousel roof, because of the historic nature of the project and because he's a local contractor.
