KENNEWICK, WA - Have you ever wondered what it takes to change out the Toyota Center? It can be a concert venue, a hockey rink, a football field and even a basketball court. Sometimes, it's all of those things in just a matter of days.

Take these past two days, for example. On Wednesday night the Americans played on the ice and right after the game a crew got to work changing it over to the Tri-Cities Fever turf field.

"Really, it fits together like a puzzle. So one piece slides in, the next piece slides in and once we get all that going then we put the turf down. It's Velcro turf so it looks really nice after we're done. We put the wall covers on and like I said, it goes together like a nice big puzzle," said conversion supervisor Brian Fife.

NBC Right Now currently has a GoPro set up in the Toyota Center and will share a video time lapse of the week's changeover. It's going from Americans ice to Fever turf to NWAC court and back to ice by Wednesday. You'll see it all only on NBC Right Now.
