Saint Vincent de Paul Food Bank Has A New Home

PASCO, WA - Saint Vincent de Paul Food Bank and Community Services Building has a new place to call home.

On Saturday, the non-profit organization celebrated their new location, at 21 S. 6th Avenue in Pasco, by blessing the facility. The 16,000-square-foot building cost almost $2 million dollars and includes a warehouse, a clothing distribution center, meeting spaces and offices.

The organization moved into the new space last month and organizers say they're already breaking records.

"In January, we provided food to more than 3,000 families which impacted about 14,000 people. That's the largest number we have ever done," said Sina Pierret, former president and co-manager of the food bank.

Saint Vincent distributes food and clothing on Wednesdays between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. You can also drop off items on Mondays between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., or by appointment. Their phone number is (509)544-9315.
