THE DALLES, OR - Oregon Department of Transportation crews worked to repair the center divider along I-84 after an ice-related crash.
Investigators say a commercial truck driver lost control around 6 a.m. Monday on the east end of the Dalles. He hit the divider while traveling eastbound and pushed it into the westbound lanes. The truck bounced back into the eastbound lanes and was hit from behind by a pickup truck driver. Another pickup truck driver traveling in the westbound lanes then crashed head-on into the divider.
Luckily, all three drivers sustained only minor injuries. Crews diverted traffic until repairs were complete.
This crash was one of 15 that Oregon State Police responded to throughout Sunday night and into Monday morning.
