Richland Police Warn of 11 Residential Burglaries Since February

RICHLAND, WA - Richland police are warning residents about 11 residential burglaries in the city since February 2nd.

Officers say all the burglaries have happened when a door has been left open or unlocked. Several even happened during the day.

Items stolen include electronics, cameras, jewelry, and other assorted items.

Officers also say there have been multiple vehicle prowls in Richland. Over 80% of those incidents have happened when the vehicle was left unlocked.

Police are reminding residents to keep their vehicles and homes locked. They also say to call 9-1-1 if any suspicious people are seen trying to open doors or going up to houses in an unusual way.
