Fever Linebacker Boris Lee Named IFL Special Teams Player Of The Week

Posted: Updated:
After a disappointing 2013 season in which the team failed to qualify for the postseason for the first time since joining the IFL in 2010, the Tri-Cities Fever began their 2014 campaign with a dominating 69-26 victory over the Wyoming Cavalry.  Veteran LB Boris Lee's play stood out amongst many quality performances from Fever players.  During the game, Lee blocked two Cavalry field goal attempts, returning one for a TD in the 3rd quarter.  In addition, Lee registered 9 tackles (1.5 for loss), 1 sack, and 1 pass break up.  For his efforts, Lee is this week's Special Teams Player of the Week.  Next up for the Fever is a showdown with the Storm.
