KENNEWICK, WA - A group of young men were caught on surveillance cameras stealing from a family's shed in Kennewick on Wednesday night.

It happened around midnight near the corner of 10th Avenue and S. Union Street. The family, however, has several surveillance cameras posted up outside their home.

Footage from between midnight and one a.m. show what appear to be four young men walking up to a shed in the backyard around midnight. Then they left and came back about 20 minutes or so later.

The images from inside the shed and outside appear to show the boys taking things out. Everything from tools, a small safe, liquor, video games and gaming systems are reportedly missing.

"It feels very bad. I don't think anyone should feel like this. Because one little step and he would've been in the house and then what," said one man who lives there, Gilbert Guerrero.

The footage from the front of the house does show at least one boy nearly walking up to the front door of the house before apparently getting spooked by a motion sensor light.

Kennewick Police are investigating. If you have any information you're asked to call them at 628-0333.
