Burbank Man Killed When Pickup Truck Rolls Onto Top Near Zillah

NEAR ZILLAH, WA - The Washington State Patrol is investigating after a fatal crash along Interstate 82 in Yakima County.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. Friday just one mile east of Zillah. Troopers say Mark Sasser, 56, of Burbank drove across the westbound lanes and his pickup truck rolled onto its top. Sasser was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Next of kin has been notified.
