Fundraiser Held to Continue Maintenance at Horse Trails in the Area.

BENTON CITY, WA - People and their horses gathered Sunday at Horn Rapids Park in Benton City to raise money for horse trails in the area.

The 28th Annual chili Feed was hosted by the Rattlesnake Ridge Riders and it is the group's only fundraising event.

The money goes toward maintaining trails, scholarships for veterinarian students at WSU Tri-Cities and for general operations.

"Well this is a make or break for us on this, this is the only fundraiser we do every year and this makes it so we can continue our operations," said Dan Chappel, Rattlesnake Ridge Riders, Director.

The fundraiser included a chili feed, of course, a silent and live auction and two horse rides in the morning.
