WALLA WALLA, WA - Four people are hurt and one man remained in the hospital on Sunday night after a two car crash near Touchet.

It happened around 6:40 a.m. on Sunday along Highway 12 and Larrabee Road. Washington State Patrol says 30-year-old Jose Sosa, of Milton-Freewater, Oregon was going east when he crossed the center line and side-swiped a car going west. The car that was hit left the roadway and rolled.

The Walla Walla Professional Firefighters Facebook page says two people in the rolled car had to be extricated.

The driver of the second car, 38-year-old Mark Gomes, also of Milton-Freewater, was listed in satisfactory condition at St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla on Sunday night.

His two passengers, a 42-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl, and Sosa were treated at St. Mary's and released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
