BELLEVUE, WA - AAA says the price at the pump isn't getting any better, but the Tri-Cities and Yakima have some of the cheapest gas statewide.

In Washington state, the average price for a gallon of regular is up nearly a dime in the last week, and nearly a quarter in the last month. The average cost is now $3.55. That's 6 cents higher than the national average, which is $3.49.

In The Tri-Cities, the average cost for a gallon of regular is $3.39. In Yakima, it's $3.50. AAA says the most expensive gas in Washington state is in Bellingham, at $3.64.

In Oregon, the state average is $3.51. Just like Washington state, that number has gone up 9 cents in a week and 23 cents in a month.
