NBCRightNow.com – NBC Right Now is digging deeper into an online controversy. Viewers in Richland are discussing a report that was released in Seattle about Garfield High School's basketball team.

After the Richland Bombers were defeated by Garfield's Bulldogs in the state championship game, many people pointed to a report that claimed 6 members of their team had been drafted.

A Seattle station pointed out that those teammates had all transferred to the school within the past year, showing that the school could have tried to stack their team with the best players. Today i got on the phone with the Seattle School District. They say "these are just rumors" .No formal complaints have been reported. As a formality the school researched each player named in the story and each student had just happened to move this past year.

According to the WIAA, there is not an investigation underway as no substantial facts have been brought to the table that would call for one.
