    SPOKANE, Wash. - A 6-month-old child is in protective custody and a suspect has been detained as Spokane Police investigate a kidnapping early Friday morning.  Police said in a press released they made contact with a man outside of the Public Safety Building early Friday morning just before 2:30 a.m. The man had two children who were not related to him, but had been left in his custody.

    SPOKANE, Wash. - The City of Spokane and former Parks and Recreation Department employee Nancy Goodspeed reached an agreement on Friday that resolved a lawsuit Goodspeed brought against the City.  The City will pay Goodspeed $165,000, according to the agreement. Goodspeed claimed she was illegally replaced from her job as the city attempted to manage a sexual harassment scandal involving former police chief Frank Straub.
