PASCO, WA – NBC Right Now uncovered more information about a former teacher at Kingspoint Christian School in Pasco facing charges of child molestation.

After we first reported that on February 3rd an arrest warrant was issued for Brian Scott Dean on charges of 2nd degree child molestation, NBC Right Now has obtained the court documents. They show that around January 23rd Dean was looking after a 13 year-old girl. He allegedly placed a blanket over the two of them and began to touch her inappropriately. The girl immediately told her parents the next day.

The current allegation is an aggravating circumstance which means it is believed Dean "used his position of trust, confidence or fiduciary responsibility" to commit the offense he is currently charged with.

Dean is no longer an employee at the school. The principal told us he resigned at the end of January. Benton County Clerk's office told us Dean posted his $10,000 bail.

The next court date for Dean is set for April 3rd. A pretrial hearing is May 1st and the trial is dated to begin May 12th.
