A group of 34 Delta High School students are heading to Auburn to compete at the State History Competition on May 3rd.
RICHLAND, WA - A group of 34 Delta High School students are heading to Auburn to compete at the State History Competition on May 3rd.
Students presented 132 different projects at the Regional History Day competition on February 22nd at Eastern Washington University, and the top ones were chosen to move on to the state competition at Green River Community College. Their projects centered on this year's National History Day theme, Rights and Responsibilities. The projects included documentaries, websites, exhibits, dramatic performances, and historical research papers.
Winners from the state contest will advance to the national contest in Washington, D.C.
