PASCO, WA - It's Throwback Thursday and we're taking a look back at the Franklin County Historical Museum in Pasco.

The building was originally a library built in 1911 with a $5,000 Carnegie grant.

More than 50 years later, the library moved in 1962 and businesses used the space for several years.

Then in 1983, the Franklin County Historical Museum moved in.

"It was just a great social center. So many memories here, really good memories, and as a museum we're helping to preserve that history. So it's really fitting," said Sherel Webb, Franklin County Historical Museum.

The historical museum is part of the national register of historic places.

If you want to take a look at some local history, the museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 12-4pm.
