The first one happened just after 5:30pm Tuesday evening at the Yoke's Fresh Market on Indian Trail Road.Police say the man walked up to the customer service counter, indicated he had a weapon, though no weapon was actually shown, and demanded money. Once he got some money, he fled the area, but right now police aren't sure if that was on foot or by car. The suspect in that robbery is described as white, in his late 20's to early 30's, about 5'9"-6'0" tall, with a reddish brown beard and a longer mustache.

About two hours later on the other side of town, police responded to another robbery at the Subway on N. Nevada. Police say in this robbery a handgun was pulled by the suspect as he grabbed cash from the till and ran off. Police attempted a K-9 track on the suspect, but were unsuccessful.

The suspect in this robbery is described as being white and wearing a black jacket, a black bandana, and a black and white baseball hat.

Anyone with information on either of these robberies is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
