Pendleton School District to Move to New Location

Posted: Updated:

PENDLETON, OR - The Pendleton School District Office is moving next week.

The current office at 1207 SW Frazer Avenue will be renovated to be used by HawthornAlternative High School students next year, while the Hawthorne building is renovated to become the new Early Childhood/Kindergarten Center.

The renovations come as part of the bond projects that voters passed last November.

The district office will make its move over spring break from March 24th to 28th to the old Pendleton Medical Center building at 1100 Southgate, Suite 8.

The district says once the rebuilt Sherwood and Washington elementary schools open in 2016, alternative education students will move into West Hills and the District Office will move into the Lincoln building.

In the meantime, PSD Board meetings will be at the InterMountain Education Service District, at 2001 SW Nye Avenue in Pendleton. The District Office phone numbers will remain the same.
