Pasco Police Look for Two Persons of Interest after Shooting

Posted: Updated:

PASCO, WA - Pasco Police say they're looking for two people involved with a shooting Sunday night.

Police say officers working in downtown Pasco heard several dozen gunshots Sunday night. Shortly after, dispatchers started receiving calls about gunshots in a neighborhood on the 1800 block of East Broadway Street.

Police say when officers arrived, everyone involved in the shooting had driven away, but police say they later found and seized all of those vehicles. Officers say they also found several bullet casings from the area, including rounds from a rifle and a semi auto handgun.

Police say two different homes were struck by stray bullets, but no one inside those homes got hurt. Officers say a 23-year-old man from Pasco also went to the emergency room Sunday night where he was treated for minor gunshot wounds.

Police say the man was not cooperative, but officers believe he shot in the incident on Broadway.

Police say they have identified two "persons of interest," but officers haven't their names.  Officers continue to investigate the incident and believe it's related to street gangs.
