KENNEWICK, WA - A couple of local artists are topping the music charts. Local artists, Allen Osborne and Chris Loid, along with their producer Ed Dailey, can't seem to let go of their gold plated record.

Osborne's song "I'll Be Waiting There For You" and Loid's song "Until the Earth Stands Still" both hit number one on the New Music Weekly national chart.

"You know, the one thing over time that I've learned is if it's going come to you, it's gonna come. So you just wait it out, then you gotta be patient, that's the thing. I was just blessed enough to have it go that far," Loid explained.

Both songs were recorded in Kennewick at Rainmaker Studios last year.

New Music Weekly is based out of Los Angeles and the chart is put together based on radio station plays throughout the country.

"I was really shocked to see it go to number one. I, you know, figured it'd do good, but that was pretty good,"Osborne told NBC Right Now.

Osborne is also part of a well known local band called "Stompin' Ground."
