SEATTLE (AP) - A Seattle hospital says a 22-week-old baby boy injured in a deadly Washington state mudslide is improving although he is still listed in critical condition.

Spokeswoman Susan Gregg said Monday that little Duke Suddarth is in intensive care.

The baby's mother, 25-year-old Amanda Skorjanc, is in satisfactory condition at Harborview. In a statement, the Suddarth and Skorjanc families said they send "our prayers and hope to the entire community" affected by the tragedy.

Gregg says an 81-year-old injured man has improved to serious condition and is in intensive care, while both a 37-year-old man and a 58-year-old man are in serious condition as well.

The death toll continued to rise Monday. Authorities say they're looking for more than 100 people who have not been heard from since Saturday's disaster about 55 miles northeast of Seattle.
