Action Cam: Super Inflatable Colon Display At Spokane Valley Mall!

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - United Healthcare and Spokane Regional Health District, as part of National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March, are excited to partner with Colon Stars to bring its Super Inflated Colon to town!

The event is free and the colon will travel two places:
  • Spokane Valley Mall, 14700 E. Indiana, March 25, 2014 10am - 6pm
  • North Town Mall, 4750 N. Division, March 26, 2014 10am - 6pm
The Super Inflated Colon is an interactive educational tool with the message that colorectal cancer is preventable, treatable and beatable! Visitors to the exhibit can get an up-close look at:
  • healthy colon tissue
  • tissue with non-malignant colorectal disease like Crohn's and colitis
  • colorectal polyps
  • various stages of colorectal cancer

Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday that the president had spoken to Sen. John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, about a bipartisan bill designed to strengthen the FBI database of prohibited gun buyers.

He spent his time largely at his Mar-a-Lago estate as White House aides advised him against golfing too soon after a deadly school shooting in a nearby community.

    PARKLAND, Fla. - The couple who took in the Florida school shooting suspect after his mother died says he told them he was sorry after the shooting. Speaking Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America," James and Kimberly Snead said they've only seen Nikolas Cruz once since the shooting that killed 17 when they briefly saw him at the police station.
