YAKIMA, WA - Drivers in Yakima might need to plan ahead when heading out the door.  First Street to Third Avenue on Nob Hill Boulevard in will be closed again for most of the day Wednesday and Thursday.

Crews with Cascade Natural Gas are installing new gas lines for Shields Bag and Printing.

The two westbound lanes on Nob Hill Boulevard will be closed between nine in the morning and three in the afternoon.

Alternate routes are on Mead Avenue and Walnut Avenue to avoid traffic delays.

Crews will be directing traffic in the area.

That is not the only area of Nob Hill Boulevard closed for construction.

The road between First Street and Sixth Street is closed Tuesday as crews with the city extend some sewer lines.

Starting Wednesday, that closure will move to between seven at night and six in the morning, which will last until mid-April when the project is finished.

During that time the roads will be open during the day.
