WEST RICHLAND, WA - Tuesday night, the City of West Richland hosts a public forum to discuss a proposed new animal shelter.

The rescue group, Adopt Shelter Animal Pets (ASAP) works with the City to find foster and forever homes for homeless, abused and abandoned pets in West Richland.

ASAP is encouraging the public to attend the meeting Tuesday night to give input pn the city's plans to develop an improved shelter.

ASAP says the current animal shelter in West Richland is not open it the public, it is unmanned, and does not have climate control.

The meeting starts at 6:30 Tuesday night at Enterprise Middle School, located at 5200 Paradise Way in West Richland.
