Benton Co. Practitioner Suspended for Inappropriately Touching Patients

Posted: Updated:

BENTON COUNTY, WA - A respiratory care practitioner out of Benton County is without his credential after inappropriately touching several patients.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner Program entered an agreement with Robert Robinson that suspends his credential for at least two years.

The Washington State Department of Health says Robinson had a sexual relationship with a patient's daughter.

He also inappropriately touched another patient during a home visit. During another home visit he rubbed the patient's neck and pulled her hair, causing her to fear for her life.

While treating a third patient at a hospital, Robinson pulled the patient's hair and offered to come to her home after her discharge. The patient reported it to the hospital's human resources department.
