TOPPENSIH, WA - Heritage University should be finishing up construction on three new buildings rather soon.

NBC Right Now spoke with the construction coordinator about where crews are in the building process, and he said they are right on track to finish.

Crews broke ground last October, more than a year after the Petrie Building went up in flames destroying classrooms, the cafeteria, bookstore, and all the technical facilities.

Now progress on the three new buildings is going great and construction coordinator, Rob Carroll, said he is proud to be able to stay on track with such a huge project.

"It's a great feeling to go into a job that's as big as this has been and be on time and an budget.  That's partly due to the contractors, the architects, and the university all working together as one," Carroll said.

The new buildings will house the cafeteria, bookstore, classrooms and IT facilities.

They are also using some bricks saved from the old building, which burned down.

Carroll said the new buildings will be finished by the end of July, and be ready for students this next fall semester.
