KENNEWICK, WA - A little rain isn't going to keep the kids inside.

The students at Sunset Elementary School ran between the drops at Friday's Running with Our Heroes Jog-O-Thon.

Some of the heroes that came out to run with the kids included Tri-Cities Fever defensive back Rudell Crim and wide receiver Harry Peoples.

The football players say it's all about motivation and support.

"It's basically showing them that they can do it," Peoples says. "They can do anything along as they put their minds to it, and we put a little support behind them."

Crim and Peoples were among several local professionals invited to run with the kids.
