Man Missing From Hermiston, Car Found Near Columbia River

HERMISTON, OR - Hermiston and Oregon State Police are looking for a Hermiston man who they say has gone missing under suspicious circumstances.

Officers say they found 59-year-old Alvin Lee Patterson's car Monday morning in a parking lot on the westbound side of the I-82 bridge over the Columbia River. Inside his car they found his identification and cell phone.

Patterson is 5'5", 160 lbs., with black hair, and was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt with tan pants.

Hermiston police want to talk to anyone who may have seen Patterson in the parking lot or walking on the footbridge Monday morning between 6 and 7 a.m. Anyone with information should call Officer Robert Guerrero or OSP Trooper Jerrad Little through OSP Southern Command Center dispatch at (541) 664-4660.
