Hermiston Teen Facing Multiple Charges for Graffiti

HERMISTON, OR - A 14-year-old Hermiston boy is in custody facing charges for two recent rashes of graffiti.

Hermiston police say the teen is being charged with two counts of first degree criminal mischief, two counts of criminal conspiracy, and eight counts of unlawful application of graffiti. He is now at the juvenile detention facility in Pendleton.

Officers estimate the teen caused several thousand dollars in damages and cleanup efforts.

The boy's mother is also being charged with two counts of failure to supervise a child.
