FRANKLN COUNTY, WA - A semi-truck driver is facing charges after hitting another car from behind along Highway 17 near Connell.

Washington State Troopers say around 9:15 a.m. Friday Ramon Fuentes, 26, was slowing down to turn on to Paradise Road. That's when a driver hauling a mobile home failed to stop and hit Fuentes's car from behind.

Paramedics took Fuentes to Kadlec Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the truck, 56-year-old Salvador Sanchez, was not injured.

Troopers say the cause of the accident was due to inattention. Sanchez is facing charges for driving too fast for conditions.
