NBCRightNow.com - Papa John's Pizza in the Tri-Cities has raised thousands of dollars to help the families of the Snohomish County landslide victims.

Local owner Preston House tells us on Thursday the three stores in the Tri-Cities were the 1st, 2nd, and 4th busiest Papa John's stores in the entire state of Washington. Through their sales they were able to raise $3,866.32 for the Salvation Army's Disaster Relief Fund.

House says customers also donated additional money while employees donated their day's tips.

The Tri-Cities stores partnered with all 40 Puget Sound stores along with three Spokane stores. This is the second time the Papa John's franchises have banned together to support their community in a time of tragedy. In December 2009 they raised $141,000 for the four fallen Lakewood Washington Police Officers.
