Easton, WA - Washington State Patrol are investigating a hit and run Friday evening involving a Washington Department of Transportation truck on I-90.

The DOT driver, Gilberto Acevedo, 29 was parked on the shoulder with his warning lights flashing when a semi truck driver changed lanes and cut off another driver in a Ford F350 being driven by Michael Heden, 52.

Heden swerved to avoid the semi, striking the DOT truck and then spinning before hitting the DOT truck again.

The semi drove away not noticing what happened.

Acevedo of Yakima was transported to Kittitas Valley Healthcare to be treated for unknown injuries.

Both Acevedo and Heden were wearing their seatbelts.
