EWU Football Kicks Off Spring Practices

The Eastern Washington football team kicked off its spring practice campaign at Roos Field in Cheney, Wash. on Friday, April 4. The Eagles are coming off of a season where they lost to Towson in the FCS Semifinals and are itching and ready to get the 2014 season underway.

SWX's John Collett visited EWU as it began its first practice of the spring. Hear from players and head coach Beau Baldwin as they got back onto the gridiron--also an exclusive one-on-one interview with sixth-year linebacker Ronnie Hamlin--and click through some of the pictures of the early action.

      Ben College scored a career-high 31 points to lead Whitworth University to a 92-56 win over visiting Gallaudet University in a non-conference men's basketball game on Friday night in the Whitworth Fieldhouse.
