Local Host Families for International Students Needed

Posted: Updated:

NBCRightNow.com - A worldwide non-profit is looking for local families to host international students.

Right now International Student Exchange has more than 40 students waiting to be placed.

They will be arriving this summer for the 2014/20-15 school year.

The students range from 15 to 18 years old and come from more than 20 countries including Brazil and China.

The local representative said it is a great way to invite some culture into your home.

"It's a good way to go abroad and show other countries what Americans are all about...the culture experience, the different ethnic groups, the food.>

The students come with their own spending money and do volunteer work in their free time and they also all speak English.

For more information you can contact Amanda McCullough, ISE Area Representative at 509-585-1422 or by email at mandamccullough83@gmail.com.
