People can enroll in TSA Pre-Check to avoid having to take off their belts, shoes and jackets.
TSA Pre-Check enrollment centers are now open in Pasco and Yakima. TSA Pre-Check is used now at 118 other airports nationwide.
TSA Pre-Check is a screening process that makes it easier to go through airport security.
Once approved, flyers can line up in special screening lanes at airports where it is available and keep their laptops and legal liquids and gels in their carry ons.
"It's just nice not to have to unpack everything and take off your shoes and take off your coat it does make it go faster, it's convenient," said Jackie Cross, Frequent Flyer.
People can start enrolling by going to www.universalenrol.dhs.gov the application fee is $85 but it is good for five years.
Finger prints are required.
People will have to finish the application process in person at an enrollment center in Yakima it is located on 3601 W. Washington Avenue Suite 1 and in Pasco the address is 9915 Sandifur Pkwy, walk-ins are welcome.
