Statewide 911 Service Restored in Washington

UPDATE/NBCRightNow.com - CenturyLink says it believes it has restored 911 services throughout Washington state.

The company is still working with 911 centers statewide to make sure all the issues have been resolved.

NBCRightNow.com - Police say there is a statewide 911 outage going on right now in Washington. Police are asking people who need to call 911 to use the non-emergency dispatch number for your area.

The outage may have to do with CenturyLink service, and there is no word when 911 service will be restored.
