One Woman Dead, Three Injured in Crash in Wapato

The Washington State Patrol says a woman from Wapato is dead and three others are injured after a crash south of Wapato Friday morning. The Washington State Patrol says a woman from Wapato is dead and three others are injured after a crash south of Wapato Friday morning.

WAPATO, WA - The Washington State Patrol says a woman from Wapato is dead and three others are injured after a crash south of Wapato Friday morning. 

Troopers say 52-year-old Patricia L. Morning Gun died when she drove her car through a stop sign at Progressive Road and South Wapato Road, and crashed into an SUV.

Paramedics took a passenger in the car, 18-year-old Kristen L. Morning Gun-Briggs to Yakima Regional Hospital, along with the two women in the SUV, 44-year-old Victoria A. Mesplie and 22-year-old Janel A. Mesplie. 

Troopers say Morning Gun and Morning Gun-Briggs were both wearing their seatbelts, the Mesplies were not.
