MONTANA TECH NARROWS ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FINALISTS TO THREE

BUTTE, MT - Montana Tech has selected three finalists for its athletic director position. The finalists are: Rick Goeb, Dave Lau, and Jason Herbers.

The eight-member search committee was busy for the past month reviewing the robust pool of 109 applicants. "I believe the size of the applicant pool is indicative of the reputation of Montana Tech-people want to work at Tech and be a part of the good things that are happening on campus," noted Doug Abbott, Montana Tech Provost and head of the search committee. "The committee phone interviewed seven candidates and conducted reference calls. From this, we selected three finalists for on-campus interviews."
Each candidate will have a full day of interviews with faculty, staff, and students. Also included in their on-campus interview is a forum for the campus and community to meet the candidates and ask questions.
