KHQ.COM - The President has arrived in Washington State to visit and survey the devastated community of Oso. Air Force touched down in Everett shortly after 12:30 today. Obama will tour the area of Oso and visit with families who loved ones were killed in the devastating mudslide.

KHQ - Stay tuned to KHQ.COM for the arrival of President Barack Obama in Everett, WA on Air Force 1,Tuesday around 12:30pm. President Obama plans to visit and survey the devastated community of Oso after the March 22nd Mudslide that killed more than 3 dozen people. Air Force 1 could arrive as early as 12:25 or as late as 12:50.

Kelsey Watts is waiting for the President's arrival in Everett, WA while Sean Owsley and Matt Rogers are on the ground in Oso. We will LIVE stream the president's arrival right here on KHQ.COM and have complete coverage of his visit tonight on KHQ Local News at 5 and 6pm.
    
President Obama's brief stopover in Oso, WA will be made on his way to the Asia-Pacific region for a four-country visit.
    
He'll visit with victims of the deadly disaster, emergency responders and recovery workers.
    
The mudslide killed at least 41 people and buried dozens of homes in the town of Oso, Wash., which is about an hour northeast of Seattle.
    
The Snohomish (snoh-HOH'-mish) County medical examiner's office has identified 39 victims. Two others remain unidentified and four names remain on a list of missing people.
    
Crews continue to dig through the wreckage in a search for bodies.

    SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - Emergency rescue crews pulled a man from the Spokane River in the middle of training to do that exact thing. The Spokane Valley Fire Department reports that a man jumped from the Trent bridge just east of N. Pines Rd. into the Spokane River. The SVFD Special Operations team just happened to already be in the area conducting swift water training at the time and were able to quickly respond with Spokane County Sheriff's Deputies who were also near by.
